Our latest MDC series have no planned major engine overhauls for up to 60,000 operating hours (depending on the duty cycle).

Easy to service through a modularized construction
Large doors on mainframe, individual camshaft sections and sectional exhaust manifold allow for ease of access for maintenance. Unitized cylinder assembly enables quick changeout for increased engine uptime.

Phoenix Reisen’s Amadea to undergo engine retrofit for greener ops
SOLZA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED auxiliary diesel gensets, designed to reduce emissions, are to be fitted to Phoenix Reisen’s Amadea by September. The Amadea will receive two medium-speed marine diesel engines, L250 and V250, which use advanced EGR technology to minimise formation of NOx during combustion, thus meeting IMO III and EPA Tier 4 emissions requirements.

Weeks Marine Inc. (WMI) and Eastern Shipbuilding Group have signed a contract to construct a sister ship to Magdalen, a Lloyd's Register 356-foot twin-screw trailing suction hopper dredge. The new vessel, R.B. Weeks is scheduled for delivery in 2023.
